O-week was more like Ohhhhh-Week.
There was an Oh for Oh! That’s how the mess system works!
There was an Ohh for Ohh that’s where AC 04 301 is…
There was an Ohhh for Ohhh God, this is hectic!
There was an Ohhhh for Ohhhh now what does this acronym stand for?!
Orientation week, rather Ashoka in general can be a daunting experience at the first glance, or the second, or even the third for that matter, but _____________(Were you expecting an optimistic answer? Oh I don’t know, let me complete this semester and then I will get back to you!)
Ashoka, as a diverse community is diverse indeed.
From Sopaan being the mini version of a Cross Country to the sessions(sometimes useful, sometimes redundant) one had to attend, O-week never stopped being a reminder that college life can be taxing but is drizzled(or loaded, if you want me to sound generous) with moments of zest and zeal.
Since a lot of you (didn’t) ask(ed), I will tell you my favourite- it was the club fair!
At the end of the week, I got accustomed to the fact that I have approximately 700 people(!!) in my batch and almost the same number of emails to go through every week.
Overall review: 👍
PS: Context- My college days kickstarted on the 3rd of September, 2022. We had our O-Week from the 3rd to the 11th.
